Please join us for our first service project of 2006. Help pick up trash visible
at Green Mountain Reservoir. For those volunteers outside of Heeney, meet at Dillon
Ranger District HQ in Silverthorne to carpool. Dress in layers for a day outdoors.
Bring water, lunch, work gloves, long pants, sturdy boots, sunglasses, sun hat,
rain gear, insect repellent, and sunscreen. Snacks and beverages will be provided
at the end of workday tailgate party (around 1-ish).

We cleared litter from three campsites at Green Mountain Reservoir, generating over 2 truckloads of trash and eight bags of recycling. By clearing this area, we helped to assure pleasing experiences for future users of this incredibly popular recreation destination.
