These 13 volunteers and 1 Forest Service personnel, generated 52 volunteer hours, valued at nearly $940 (average hourly rate provided by the Department of Labor). We closed two redundant trail sections, built five water bars, and transplanted quite a few species of plants and grasses near Rainbow Lake above Frisco. By closing and restoring unnecessary braids of trail, we help ensure the sustainability of this area, and assure pleasing experiences for future users of this incredibly popular recreation destination. Thanks to our sponsors - Safeway, City Market, and Pika Bagel– for providing us with tasty treats at the beginning and end of the day! Please support our sponsors on your next food and beverage run!

With sincere thanks,
